The entrance fee is 5 Euro for adults.De entree van het Martenamuseum bedraagt 5 Euro voor volwassenen. When you are in theprocessions of a dutch museumcard the entrance is without any cost.
Besides the room for temprary expositions this museum own a historical collection. Untill the nineteenth Franeker had the second university in the Netherlands in age. Even Descartes spent some time in Franeker but got a dispute with a fellow professor in the theology.
